2nd Annual Field Day

Looking for fun, free entertainment for the whole family? Come celebrate our unique Appalachian Heritage on May 9 at the second annual Olive Hill Field Day. Admission and events are free and will feature a petting zoo, pony rides, heritage demonstrations, arts and crafts booths, and a demonstration of horse-drawn farming equipment.

Also this year, there will be a traditional music contest with cash prizes awarded for first, second, and third place. Categories include: flat-pick guitar, banjo, vocal, and fiddle. A five dollar entry fee is required, and participants must register at least one hour prior to the category (or categories) in which they wish to compete.
